"It's time to do something" - a health update

Those are not the words you generally want to hear come out of your oncologists mouth, but, here we are.
I had my MRI on 5/19. Being me, as soon as I got the results I looked, knew what they meant, and researched my options.
Overall, my tumors are growing. The primary in my pancreas grew to 4.7 cm and 3 in my liver grew into the 1.5 cm range.
So, "it's time to do something". Of course, the something is the question, but we have a plan to get to a plan which is good.
First, I am getting a PET Scan on Friday (5/23). They will give me a radioactive tracer IV and then scan to see where the disease is in my body and how serious it looks in each place.
On 6/2, I have appointments with my oncologist (Pegna) and surgeon (Pommier) to review the test and discuss thoughts.
They are going to bring my case to the tumor board in late June. Then we will have a plan.
The oncology treatments will be some combination of PRRT (a targeted radiation therapy) or surgery to remove the tumor in the pancreas, the spleen, some lymph nodes and some of the liver tumors.
I am not sure you what the sequence will be, radiation then surgery or vice versa.
So that's where we are. I am feeling good about having a plan with a path forward, but I am scared of a surgery given the last time. Lots to process and work through but I wanted to share an update.
And luckily, my forgotten cancer (the kidney) is stable. I'll take it!
